December's movie is The Shop Around the Corner. With Christmas approaching, it's a busy time of year at a Budapest leather goods shop.  While dealing with his annoying new sales rival Klara (Margaret Sullavan), Alfred (Jimmy Stewart) is also corresponding with a cultured mystery woman with whom he may be falling in love.  We'll talk about the movie's use of perspective to create suspense and the film's use as an inspiration for a musical and 2 films, including 1998's You've Got Mail.
