The Funky Divas of Gospel have been a fixture at concert venues in New England for over 25 years. The Funky Divas are all about sharing great gospel, bluegrass music.  It is roots.  It is harmony. 

The group features three seacoast area singers Diane Arabian, Carolyn Hutton and Vicky Poland, backed by the funky band.  The band is comprised by long time area musicians; guitarist and singer Dan Poland, bassist Tom Kesel, multi-instrumentalist Pete Leavenworth playing pedal steel/dobro/banjo and percussionist Bob Thibodeau.

Since 2010, the group has offered an annual one hour Christmas show of familiar holiday songs and carols.   This show combines the musicianship and vocal harmonies the Divas are known for with the traditional and nostalgic music of the season.

Funky Divas performances are suitable for all ages. The group regularly performs in concert halls, music festivals and outdoor events, gospel brunches, corporate functions, benefits, conferences and church services no matter the denomination.

The concert is free and open to the public; however, seating is limited to 100 patrons. Light refreshments provided by the Friends of the Bedford Library will be served at intermission.
