Do you wish your cell phone photos were just a little less blurry and a little more special? Professional headshot photographer Jo Smith will teach the skills needed to take your cell phone photos to the next level at this Phone Photography Workshop hosted by the Friends of The Bedford Library.

Jo Smith has been a photographer for almost 30 years, and shooting professionally for nearly 20 of those.

Originally from England,  she studied hospitality at the University of Wales in Cardiff where she learned the importance of great customer service and developed a solid grounding in business skills. She then had the good fortune to work in the travel industry, spending a decade traveling the globe and leading tours to some pretty amazing destinations. It really was a dream job.

Early in the 2000s, with little formal training, just armed with her love for photography, she began shooting for Headshots, and now runs the company! Her goal is to help clients to feel comfortable in front of the camera. She has found that when the process is fun, the results are fabulous. Most clients are professionals - doctors, lawyers and the like, but she also enjoys photography for fun when she hikes, travels and spends time with my family.

Jo continues to be inspired by her work and customers. She is always delighted to learn new things to improve her craft.
